Take the top off. Leave your gear in the Jeep.

SquadBox is a lockable, modular cargo system for 4-door Wranglers. It bolts in without drilling, locks whether or not your doors are on, and reconfigures in about a minute when the load changes.

  • Fits JK, JL and 4xe
  • No drilling
  • Flat-rate shipping
  • Built in the USA

Will it fit your Wrangler?

Pick your year and model. If you have the Alpine subwoofer, say so, since it changes which unit you need.

01What it is

A locking cargo box built into the back of your Wrangler.

It fills the cargo area behind the rear seats, under a lid you can stand on. The seats, the top and the doors all work exactly as before. This is what $1,549 gets you.

Locks on its own, doors on or off.

02Why owners buy it

Built for the way you actually use your Jeep.

Your gear stays put.

Recovery straps, tools, camera bags, groceries. Everything has a place and nothing slides into the footwell on the way down a forest road.

Your Jeep stays open.

The lid locks on its own, so the top and the doors can come off and your gear is still locked up. Most cargo boxes rely on the tailgate to stay shut, which means they only work with the Jeep sealed up.

Your setup changes with the trip.

Both panels flip and lift out. Haul a bike one weekend, lock down camera bodies the next.

03The lock

A Jeep is easy to get into. SquadBox is not.

A soft top costs about four seconds and a pocket knife to get through. Even with the hardtop on, a smashed window puts everything in the back in somebody's hands. SquadBox puts your gear behind ballistic-grade HDPE, an aluminium frame and a lock, so what is in the back stays in the back. Two lockable 5" x 5" side compartments sit behind the rear seats for the small things you never want on display: wallet, sidearm, keys, camera bodies.

“I love the SquadBox for my 22 Jeep Wrangler 4XE. It's a great product. I was on the waiting list for the 4XE option, and I bought as soon it became available. Tyler has been great. The product arrived on time and all the parts and pieces went together perfectly. This install is easy, but it takes some time. Well worth it. Great fit and finish. Looks like a factory install, and it is very secure. I have another brand product on my 15 JK. Its good and also secure, but I like the added features and benefits of the SquadBox. The sides stay on permanently and the back and top come off easily for full storage access. I cannot be happier with this product.”

“Customer service is great and the product is excellent. Tyler answered all my questions before I even made my purchased. You will NOT be disappointed with your purchase.”

“I contacted Tyler before placing the order to determine lead time, he confirmed 4 weeks, and shipment happened as promised. Assembly is straight forward with the PDF and video guides. The product is probably indestructible and quite nicely finished. I researched several enclosures, this one has the cleanest fitment and very “factory like”! My wife’s concerns over safe secure storage have been fully addressed and install went seamlessly!”

Two people holding hands on the back of a white Wrangler at a mountain overlook

Twenty-eight years in the Army, then this

SquadBox started because we could not find a way to lock gear in our own Jeep without giving up the reasons we bought a Jeep. We designed it, tested it on the trails in Sedona and the beaches in Daytona, and had it built here in the States. It is still a family business and you still get one of us on the phone.
